Wedding photographers know this spot best, and that tells you something. Noosa Woods sits between Hastings Street and the Noosa River, a strip of woodland where the light through the trees hits just right in the late afternoon. The paths wind past calm river beaches, perfect for kids or anyone who finds the surf at Main Beach too much. Wildlife is regular company along the route, dogs are welcome on leash, and the ferry jetty adds an unexpectedly useful piece of infrastructure. Parking is the one genuine frustration, especially in peak season, so arrive early or walk in from Hastings Street. Some of the secluded swim spots have lost tree access after storm damage, worth knowing before you plan your afternoon around one specific cove.
So many hidden gems throughout these woods with spectacular, ocean and river views. Find little secluded beach/swimming spots to spend the day. Calm water, perfect for those who don't like waves. Only downside is storms have washed lots of trees into the water messing up access to a lot of the own swim spots.
A beautiful walk through the woodland area to the beachfront. Dogs are allowed on leash through the woods, and there's several footpaths that run adjacent to the road, alongside several car park areas within. Lots of wildlife along the route, and the area can get busy during peak times.
A beautiful spot to take in the crystal clear water of the Noosa river and the beach. Plenty of parking with quite a few shaded, with a toilet block close by.

Fifteen minutes of walking earns you a full sweep from the Glass House Mountains to the coast. The track is mostly paved, the views hold even on overcast days, and the flowering bushes smell like warm honey on the way up. Go at sunset.

Noosa Heads QLD
The coastal track from Noosa Heads to Boiling Pot Lookout is one of Queensland's best half-day walks, full stop. Turquoise coves, rugged cliffs, wallabies on the path. Arrive early or take the bus from Noosa Junction — parking is the only thing that'll test you.

A lot of open space for activities with a few places to sit and enjoy company. Annoyingly, there are minimal places to park leaving people to fight mad trying to find a parking spot. Other than that, the beaches and access to Hastings Street is amazing.
As a Noosa wedding photographer, this is my favourite ceremony location. It provides gorgeous backlit sunshine which is perfect for photos. This location also offers the best options for group photos after the ceremony. It's a short walk to Noosa beach and the paths along the way provide some beautiful opportunities for bridal portraits. The jetty is perfectly located to gift your guests a ride on the ferry while they wait for the photography to conclude. The best time for your ceremony at this location is two and a half to two hours before sunset (depending on your photography needs after).
Tewantin QLD
A solid MTB network out in Tentin with trails for all levels and terrain that holds up in most conditions. Weekdays are reliably quiet. The signage is patchy, so download a trail map before you go. No bins, no toilets — pack everything in, pack everything out.
