People queue before the doors open at noon. That's the first thing to know about Bang Bang. The Thai-leaning share menu on Hastings Street draws a loyal crowd, and the garlic chive miang and sticky pork belly come up again and again for good reason. The feed-me banquet is the move for groups, generous enough that you'll leave full. Cocktails are serious, the spicy margarita in particular. Service runs warm and knowledgeable on a good night. Book ahead for Thursday through Saturday, and don't show up hoping to walk in. No kids menu, so families improvise with noodles and roti. The vibe is buzzy and modern without trying too hard. Worth the reservation.
Food was exceptional! And just as fabulous was the waiter Finn… knowledgeable, attentive and warm he gave us some food + drink recommendations that ended up being some of the most delicious meals i have ever had! Some standouts were the garlic chive miang (indescribably good), the sticky pork belly (for even those who aren’t pork lovers! was tender and cooked to perfection…), the gai yang chicken + the spicy margarita (seriously one of the best i have had!!) Thankyou for such an all round incredible experience ☺️
A group of four, family (teen, parents and grandparent), we had a lovely late dinner at Bang Bang on a Sunday night. Atmosphere was lovely, cocktails were yummy, food was great and service was excellent. Waitress checked my allergies with kitchen to make sure everyone ordered was safe for me & explained how things work at Bang Bang (thanks 🙏). We shared everything, had great chats & loved the evening.
Space has a great vibe. Modern decor with a buzzing crowd energy. Service was excellent by professional and friendly staff. Definitely need to book for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Food is great but I though too much flavours and tastes competing for attention in each dish. The cucumber salad was plain and chunks too large to combine elements in each mouthful.

Directly on Laguna Bay's boardwalk, Bistro C is where Noosa goes for a proper dinner. The pork belly is the order, the seafood is local and fresh, and the sunset timing is worth planning around. Prices are high; the reviews say it earns them.

Noosaville QLD
Part wholefood market, part serious café. The brisket burger and beef tallow potatoes from the deli counter are the order, and the coffee holds its own. Go for the food bar over the sit-down menu if your wallet is watching. Open from 6:30am weekdays.

Sunrise Beach
Not every Noosa restaurant with 'ocean view' in its marketing actually faces the ocean. Some look at the river. Some face a carpark with ambition. This guide is honest about which venues deliver the real thing, what to order when you get there, and which ones require a booking versus which ones you can walk into on a Tuesday in autumn.
Noosa has a reputation for being expensive, and parts of it are. But the national park is free, the best beaches cost nothing but the walk down, and there are hostels, cafes, and caravan parks that let you do this place properly without the Hastings Street bill. Here is how to spend less and miss nothing.
Three days is the right amount of time in Noosa. Enough to hike to Alexandria Bay at sunrise, eat pork belly at Bistro C, find the quieter stretch of Sunshine Beach, and still have an evening at Aqua Day Spa. This itinerary moves through Noosa Heads, Noosaville, and Sunshine Beach with specific times, specific plates, and no filler.
Saturday morning on Hastings Street is a contact sport. The queues form before 9am and the good tables go fast. But Noosa's best cafes are not all on the main strip. From Sunshine Beach's serious coffee roasters to Noosaville's riverside spots, this is where locals actually eat brunch and how to get a table when it counts.
Friday evening to Sunday noon: the 48-hour Noosa itinerary that skips the tourist traps and gets the reservations right. Coastal walks at dawn, the best share plates on Weyba Road, a sunset dinner on Laguna Bay, and a farmers market before the drive home. This is how locals spend a weekend here.
Stopped in just for drinks. Had a mojito and a mocktail called Thai Berry — both were delicious and very well made. Service was super friendly, which made the experience even better. Would happily return for drinks again & maybe try a meal.
We have been dining in Bang Bang before. On this occasion we had lunch celebrating the Birthday with family. Before opening time which was strictly 12 pm, people were lining for the opening. So, its good to make reservation. We have done it well in advance. Our Bang banquet was lovely. The service was disappointing at the beginning but suddenly we got different lady who was much better, approachable and friendly. So 4 stars as second lady did score high. Good selection of drinks and very nice cocktails which were nice. Pitty they do not have any kids menue, so we did improvised with noodles, roti and some other pieces of food, including ice cream which served them without having them on the menue. It would be nice to have something for the little people here. I am still giving 5 stars for food we ordered.
Directly across from Sunrise Beach, Chalet & Co draws a loyal local crowd for banana waffles, Pink Dragon smoothies, and eggs Benny made with sustainably sourced ingredients. It runs busy on weekends. Order your coffee when you sit down.
