The chilli crab scrambled eggs are the reason to come. Loaded with fresh crab, coriander, and mint, they're the kind of dish that gets ordered twice in a single trip. Depot sits in Noosaville with outdoor seating over the river and a QR-code ordering system that actually works, freeing up staff to be genuinely attentive rather than harried. The menu runs breakfast through lunch, acai bowls to steak sandwiches to a trio of tacos, all at prices that won't sting. The vibe is relaxed but efficient, with good music and a crowd that skews families and tourists who've done their homework. The acai bowls arrive properly frozen, which sounds like a small thing until you've been served a warm, watery one elsewhere. Worth booking ahead; this place fills up.
Very disappointing experience. We ordered a toastie and it was poorly prepared — barely toasted, dry, and served without any butter. The tomato hadn’t even been properly prepared, with the seeds and core still intact. Given the cafe’s ratings, we expected much better attention to detail and overall food quality. Unfortunately, this breakfast completely missed the mark and put a dampener on our morning. The coffee was decent, but the food was well below expectations. There are plenty of other breakfast options on the Sunshine Coast that I’d recommend trying instead. Offered a refund, which I politely declined, as seems like he needs money, possibly to hire a new chef:)
10/10 service. Kelly, Beth and Lydia were fantastic. We’re tourists from Melbourne and it’s our first time in Noosa and with an experience like this, we will definitely be telling all our family and friends back home! Thank you for making this experience so fantastic. Also the food was fabulous!! Definitely come here people

Noosa Heads QLD
Directly on Laguna Bay's boardwalk, Bistro C is where Noosa goes for a proper dinner. The pork belly is the order, the seafood is local and fresh, and the sunset timing is worth planning around. Prices are high; the reviews say it earns them.

Sunshine Beach
Cold beer, ocean views, and a lamb rump that earns its reputation. Sunshine Beach SLSC runs like a well-oiled machine: order at the counter, grab a window seat, and watch the Pacific while your food arrives faster than you'd expect. Register at the door if you're not a member.

Most Noosa visitors never make it past Noosaville. Tewantin sits a few kilometres further west along the river, and that distance is exactly what keeps it honest. A historic main street, second-hand shops with fair prices, and a ferry that crosses to genuine wilderness. Here is what to do in Tewantin, Noosa's quietest and most underrated corner.
Hastings Street gets the tourists, but Noosaville is where locals actually eat. Free parking, a calmer river strip along Gympie Terrace, and a dining scene that runs from serious coffee at Clandestino to riverside lunches at Depot Noosa. Less booking stress, more room to breathe. Here is where to eat.
By March, the summer crowds have gone home, the water is still 26 degrees, and Noosa's best restaurants actually have tables. Add the Food & Wine Festival in May and weather that finally lets you enjoy a walk without melting, and the case for autumn is hard to argue with. Here is everything you need to plan it right.
December arrives and Noosa doubles in population overnight. The car parks fill by 8am, jellyfish follow the north-easterly winds, and every good restaurant needs a booking three weeks out. This is the honest guide to summer in Noosa: where to swim before the crowds arrive, where to eat when the heat peaks, and what to actually expect.
Noosa rewards travellers who know the difference between a luxury price tag and a genuinely luxurious experience. From Sunshine Beach accommodation run by people who care, to a riverfront lunch worth lingering over, to a day spa that actually delivers, this is where to put your money and your time.
We’d such a lovely lunch here! Chicken burger was excellent, as were the buttermilk pancakes. Coffee was also really good too. Staff very friendly. Would definitely come again 😀
We came for lunch....we were blown away...awesome food, great service. Outstanding chilli, crab scrambled eggs. Lots of fresh crab, chilli and coriander and mint! AWESOME! The steak sandwich and trio of tacos were really fantastic also. LOVED the unexpected free happy hour Aperol Spritzes!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!
⭐ A Five‑Star Standout in Noosaville – DEPOT Café Absolutely Delivers! ⭐ My family and I enjoyed an unforgettable breakfast at DEPOT Café in Noosaville this morning, and I honestly can’t praise this place highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it felt like they’d been waiting just for us. We were seated straight away, and ordering through the QR code on the table was an absolute breeze. The system worked flawlessly and, to our surprise, our coffees and drinks arrived incredibly quickly. It’s clear that the streamlined ordering frees up the staff to focus on what they do best—delivering exceptional service with impressive efficiency. And then… the food. Wow. Every dish looked like it had been plated with real care, and tasted just as divine as it appeared. You know that feeling when a meal is so good you hope your photos can do it justice? That was us. Every bite was fresh, thoughtful, and full of flavour—easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in the area. We chose to sit inside, but the option to sit outdoors overlooking the river makes this café even more special. Whether you’re after a relaxed morning coffee or a full breakfast experience, DEPOT Café nails it on every level: atmosphere, service, speed, and absolutely top‑notch food. If you’re in Noosaville, do yourself a favour and stop in. Highly recommended.

A resort dining room with a loyal local following, sitting between Noosa National Park and Lake Weyba. Staff like Damian and Carla at breakfast keep regulars returning year after year. Worth the three-kilometre detour from Hastings Street, especially if you're pairing lunch with a round of golf.
