The fish and chips here pull repeat mentions for a reason: fresh, generous, and eaten with your feet practically dangling over the Noosa River. The Boathouse floats across three glass-fronted levels on Gympie Terrace, and the deck seats are the ones worth waiting for. The menu runs wider than pure seafood, with a $49 sirloin that reviewers call worth every cent, oysters, a four-course feast menu, and a tofu curry that holds its own. Service is consistently warm and efficient. Sunset from the rooftop bar is the obvious move, and the crowd knows it. Prices sit in the mid-range for Noosa, which is to say: not cheap, but the portions and setting justify it. Book ahead for deck seating on a busy night.
My Aunty and I went here for Lunch last week. The staff & service was fantastic and the meals came out so quick. We both had the fish and chips with garden salad. One of the best fish & chips I have had to date so fresh! A great relaxing view right on the water. Wheelchair friendly. I would highly recommend if you are in the area to go here. Thank you we enjoyed the dining experience alot 😊
We went there for afternoon drinks at upstairs followed by dinner downstairs by the river. Excellent service, great ambience, an amazing selection of delicious food (curated by an ex Donovan's chef), efficiently run by the long serving and friendly manager. It was our highlight for our trip. Recommended.
Had the most beautiful experience at Noosa Boat House 🌊 🌟 From the moment we arrived the atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, with stunning river views that make you instantly switch to holiday mode. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive, friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can linger a little longer and soak in the view. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back 😊

Noosaville QLD
A Noosa-roasting operation with four grinders running and staff who actually know what's in the hopper. The Magneto Organic Blend with iced milk is the move, but the Summer Breakfast waffle with mango and vanilla mascarpone gives it a run. Busy at noon. Worth it.

Coolum Beach
A Coolum Beach café where the big breakfast earns its reputation and the staff actually mean it when they greet you. Locally sourced menu, strong coffee, and gluten-free options handled properly. The fish tacos are worth ordering.

Came down for takeaway fish and chips for Dinner while staying in Noosa recently. Was busy, but didn’t take long to get served and food was ready within 15 mins which is pretty good turn around. We got one of the family packs and an additional serve of calamari which was more than enough to feed 3 adults and 3 kids. Fish and calamari were really good. Only thing that would be looked at was the potato scallop, just give us another seafood option. Chips weren’t bad, not amazing but not bad. Overall perfect spot on the river with plenty of spots to eat and nice sandy little beach to keep the kids entertained before and after dinner.
Had an amazing dining experience Tues 9 Dec after a noosa ferries cruise. Our waitress was fantastic. We were lucky enough to be seated on the deck, for a more intimate dinner. We chose the Four Course Feast Menu... and so glad we did. Partnered the meal with Noosa Heads Beer. We did add some oysters and the Creme Brulee... again amazing. This is well worth the visit. Good portion sizes. We will be back to try other Menu items.
Noosa Heads QLD
Sunset over the Noosa River, oysters with pickled ginger vinaigrette, and a crab spaghetti that reviewers keep coming back for. Ricky's is the kind of place you book for a birthday and end up recommending to your parents the next morning. Worth every dollar, especially at 4.30pm.
