The name says it — HAUM is pitched as a space, not just a treatment room. Located in the Banksia Drive precinct away from the town centre bustle, this wellness studio operates on the idea that recovery and ritual deserve proper architecture. Without a deep review trail to draw from, what's clear from their positioning is an intention toward considered, environment-led wellbeing rather than the grab-and-go massage model that populates the main strip. Expect a quieter, more deliberate atmosphere. The industrial-residential pocket it sits in won't win any scenery awards, but that's partly the point — you come here to go inward. Worth calling ahead to confirm current offerings and availability before making the trip.
By far the highest calibre of genuine yogis, not just the freshly trained YTT young type. The type that have lived & breath the essence of yoga so much so it oozes poetically & invites you into all the right spaces. All the while in a truly welcoming and safe space. Thank you, it was exactly what my soul needed. Xx
Amazing studio that focuses just on yoga! I find that many other studios these days include massage, Pilates, etc which takes away from the real yoga experience.
I’ve been practicing yoga with various teachers at this studio for years and hands down it’s in a league of its own. Led by owner Tahl - who takes immersive vinyasa classes - the studio has a hugely welcoming vibe and incorporates community outreach. At the end of every practice I leave with a sense of calm, enabling me to move with purpose.

Brooklet
Award-winning wellness retreat in 25 acres of hinterland rainforest. Yoga, spa, organic kitchen.

Byron Bay
The most central training option in Byron, sitting on Jonson Street where locals actually live. No resort markup, no performance wellness branding. A functional gym for people who want to keep moving while they're here.

Mullumbimby
On Mullumbimby's most quietly interesting food strip, The Banya brings a considered sensibility to the hinterland's casual dining scene. The name alone signals something a little different. Worth the inland detour when the coastal crowds get tired.
I’ve been practicing for 10 years & this studio is by far one of the best I’ve come across. I leave every class thinking “wow that was truly amazing.” All of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable & gifted. I feel like this studio is going to help me advance my practice physically, mentally, & spiritually. Not to mention the space is beautiful & the community is welcoming. I’m new to the area & couldn’t be more grateful to have found such an amazing studio. Thank you!
Great yoga class! I really enjoyed all the instructors I saw during my week traveler's pass. Some classes were more challenging, while others were more restorative and meditative. The studio was beautiful, the instructors were friendly, and I felt great afterward. Thank you!
