You walk directly behind the waterfall. That's the thing. Not past it, not toward it, but through the cave behind it, watching the curtain of water fall in front of you. The Twin Falls Circuit in Springbrook National Park is a Gondwana Rainforest walk through ancient ferns and brush box trees, with two trail options depending on your legs: a shorter, accessible route or a longer 14km circuit for those who want to earn it. The pool at the base is shallow enough for a swim, though the water runs cold enough to make most people reconsider. Weekends draw crowds; weekday mornings are a different experience entirely. One honest note from recent visitors: water flow varies significantly with rainfall, so after a dry spell, the falls run thin. Check conditions before you go.
Absolutely beautiful. The water was fresh but enjoyable. Great little spot to go to and the walk in is pretty easy too. There is a long 14km hike as well if you are into that. The sites are amazing. There is plenty to see. Very relaxing.
Beautiful spot whether it’s had rain recently or has less flow. Nice small cave. Shallow ish pool for a cool swim. And take a shorter hike down and back or longer circuits. Choose your adventure 👌Videos over on the socials. Busy on the weekends, not usually busy during the week 😊
Twin Falls Circuit: A Shadow of Its Former Self (4/5 Stars) It’s painful to write this review about a place that used to be a spectacular natural icon. The Twin Falls Circuit in Springbrook National Park is undeniably showing the strain of both massive tourist growth and undeniable climate change impacts. I visited recently, and the waterfalls are simply not what they used to be. Instead of the powerful, dual curtains of water that once roared down the ancient rock face, i saw a tired, thin flow, a disheartening trickle in places. It is clear that changing rainfall patterns and prolonged dry spells are taking a serious toll on the entire ecosystem here. Beyond the reduced water flow, the sheer volume of visitors has left the site feeling "loved to death." The infrastructure feels exhausted and the crowds detract significantly from the peaceful, ancient atmosphere the Gondwana Rainforest should offer. This magnificent World Heritage area deserves better protection and a break. While the rainforest track remains beautiful, the star attraction—the Twin Falls themselves—are a sobering reminder of what we are losing. Visit with realistic expectations; the experience now is more about conservation awareness than natural wonder.

Miami
A rocky headland between two beaches with unobstructed views north to the Gold Coast skyline and south along the sand. The walk up is short and steep. Sunset is the reason to come. The beach at the base is reason enough to stay.

Natural Bridge
A basalt cave where a waterfall drops through a hole in the roof and glow-worms light the ceiling after dark. The 1km rainforest loop is easy enough for toddlers, spectacular enough to bring everyone back for the night walk.

This was our second time visiting this place. There are two trail options: one starts from the lookout, while the other is shorter and easier, beginning from a different access point. Please be cautious while we were there, a large bough fell from the rocks about 3–4 meters away from where we were sitting. It was quite shocking.
A very decent hike with a very rewarding view. Great place for a nature swim if your skin is made of iron. Water was freezing. Love this place
Currumbin Valley
Dark water, slippery rocks, and kids absolutely loving every second of it. Currumbin Rock Pools in the valley offer shallow wading for little ones and a deep main pool for braver swimmers. Picnic facilities on site, café across the road. Go on a weekday.
