Lake views, a cold drink, and a menu that actually covers the table, this Carrara clubhouse pulls well beyond the golf crowd. The bistro runs a full menu with something for kids, something for the group that can't agree, and pizza when you just want pizza. Booths make it easy for big birthday dinners where everyone splits the bill. Thursday evenings have a following, with golfers rolling in after the range around 5pm for the special offers. Service gets consistent praise across the reviews, attentive without being fussy. The Melbourne Cup lunch drew a crowd for good reason. Sunday live music sessions have been missed since they stopped, which tells you something about how much the regulars care about this place. Worth booking ahead for groups.
It is a nice place for dinner in a great setting at Emerald Lakes. There is something for most people. We met a group of friends for dinner and enjoyed great service, welcoming staff and excellent food. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
Great meal, attentive service, full menu available, pleasant family friendly environment. Booths available. Great for family birthdays. Everyone can order and pay for their own meals in a big group. Local Musicians on Sunday lunch is really missed.
Came for a social round of golf after a serious amount of rain so the course was quite boggy. I still had a great time tho! Nice flat and fun course. The staff were super friendly and helpful too!

Burleigh Heads
A weatherboard café with a garden courtyard that draws Gold Coast crowds for good reason. The Dubai chocolate French toast is the order everyone's photographing, but the jam doughnut and Benny bagel are the real regulars' picks. Fast service, generous portions, and baked goods made in-house.

North Tumbulgum
Australia's first agricultural rum distillery, making cane-to-bottle spirits on volcanic Tweed Valley soil. Stay for the Tasting Trail Tour, order the crocodile bites, and let staff talk you through the coconut rum. The drive from Byron takes 30 minutes and earns its keep.

One of the best Club Sangas on the coast 👌 Steak sangas go alright too!
We went to the Putt Putt Golf here for a hiking group meet-up for something different. The Putt Putt is quite old, but it's only $5 to play unlimited until they close! How good is that?! We played one round as it was close to their closing time, and we headed into the dining/bar area for a drink and something to eat. Unfortunately, there were no vegan menu items, so I ordered the sweet potato Wedges (which were SO good!) and a glass of wine. The meal and drink prices were very reasonable too. The area was a bit outdated and old, but a magnificent view over the golf course and pond. I would definitely go back again, we had a fun time
Burleigh Heads
Southern Californian-inspired cafe on the Gold Coast Highway with a strong aesthetic, solid chicken burger, and a dog-friendly policy that extends to snacks for the four-legged. The vibe is the draw, the food backs it up, and there's undercover parking below if you know to look for it.
