The enclosed grass picnic area with dogs wandering between boutiques is the detail that makes Cornerstone click. This Gold Coast Highway address in Tugun pulls together a cluster of local businesses under one well-designed roof: yoga and Pilates studios, shopping, food, and a monthly Twilight Night that draws families out on a weeknight. The coffee holds up, the food gets repeated praise, and the whole thing has the feel of a community hub that earned that title rather than just claiming it. The Pilates and yoga classes book out fast, so spontaneity will cost you. Grab a spot on the grass, bring the dog, and treat the first visit as reconnaissance.
Amazing boutique centre located a stones throw from the beaches. Great selection of retail, cafe, wellness, food and wine outlets. The perfect place for a relaxing coffee and getting something for myself or a present for others!!
I love this place, it has everything a girl needs.
Cornerstone has become a beautiful part of our community; I couldn’t imagine Currumbin without it! Over the years, I've practiced Pilates and yoga, shopped, celebrated many milestones, and spent quality time with friends and family there. It’s the perfect space for all of this. The food is delicious, the coffee is always great, and it’s a little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. I can’t recommend it enough.

Mudgeeraba
Real whipped cream on the apple crumble, a well-regarded butcher, and a courtyard worth lingering in. Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre is a compact village strip that covers the weekly shop without the chaos of a big centre.

Elanora
The southern Gold Coast's most complete shopping centre, with all three major supermarkets, Kmart, a Japanese-Korean grocer, and over 80 specialty stores under one roof. Recently refurbished and easy to navigate, with parking all around. Wendy's milk bar for after.

Cool autumn mornings, farm gate honey, and ceramics made in valley studios. The Gold Coast Hinterland's markets and shopping precincts offer something the strip cannot: produce and products that are genuinely from here. A guide to where to shop, what to buy, and how to build a Saturday around it.
Your outdoor plans got rained out. In the Gold Coast Hinterland, that is not a problem. Waterfalls swell, mist rolls through the canopy, and the roads empty. Here is a flexible menu of what to do instead: day spas, salt caves, wildlife parks, valley cafés, and the pubs that earn their wet-weather crowds.
Most visitors drive straight to the beach and miss everything else. The Gold Coast's southern suburbs and hinterland hold a different kind of destination: a pastry café by a creek, a wildlife park that beats the famous one, rock pools the tourists haven't found yet, and a heritage-village spa that locals guard quietly. Here is the list.
Three days in the Gold Coast Hinterland, done properly. This itinerary runs from Currumbin Valley rock pools to Springbrook rainforest to Beechmont estate dinners, with every stop worth the detour. Autumn is the best time to do it. Here is the day-by-day plan, including where to stay, what to book in advance, and which road to take home.
cornerstone stores has everything I need - a quiet place for coffee, the most beautiful pilates/yoga studio, perfect shopping for clothes and gift as well as the afternoon "dinner" needs of the best meat selection together with the necessary wine and & cheese accompaniment....if only I also needed a mens hair-cut :-) .......no really, it's just the perfect one-stop destination!
We love going to Cornerstone! Such a great little community and a really unique well-designed space. The enclosed grass/picnic area is genius. Being dog friendly is a bonus too!
Mermaid Beach
Lifeline and the Salvos are the headline act here, both well-stocked with friendly staff and genuinely good finds. Add Soak Bathhouse, a yoga studio, and more off-street parking than anywhere nearby, and Pacific Square earns its regulars.
Ninety minutes from Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast Hinterland delivers rainforest, wildlife you can walk among, valley cafés, and enough good food to make the drive feel like the point. This is a time-structured guide for Brisbane residents doing it in a day: where to eat, what to do, when to leave, and how to come home without sitting in traffic.
