Spider the dog greets you at the door, and that tells you everything about the vibe at Flashpackers. Tucked between Sunshine Beach and Noosa Junction, this small hostel punches well above its category: free continental breakfast, daily evening events (BBQ nights, nachos and sangria, movie nights), a free shuttle to the beach and bus station, and staff who clearly care whether you're having a good time. Dorms run from four to ten beds, all with AC and enough ventilation that you won't feel stacked. Private rooms are basic but quiet, even when the downstairs common areas are buzzing. The one honest caveat: a small number of reviewers have flagged musty smells in certain rooms, so it's worth requesting a freshly turned one at check-in. Book ahead for peak season; long-term rates dry up in summer.

Very nice, quiet hostel — one of the best I’ve stayed in Australia! There’s a dog named Spider who warmly welcomes you at the entrance and hangs around during your stay, which adds such a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and come with air conditioning, and there are lockers available in the rooms. The showers are clean and well-maintained. There’s also a pool, which is great for relaxing. The kitchen is a bit small but clean and functional. I really liked the living room area with a balcony and TV — a nice space to chill out. During our stay, we even got free hot dogs, nachos, and sangria, which was a fun bonus! They also provide a free shuttle and offer free surfboard hire, which is awesome. Definitely worth it — I’d happily stay here again.
Such a nice hostel and all the staff members are lovely!!! Honestly the best hostel I have been to. The property is nice, a lot of spots to hang out. It‘s a very chill hostel with a lot of different age groups. They have free brekki, pancakes on some days, surfboards and some activities every day! Also a free bus that will take you to the bus station or the beach. :) Kitchen was very clean all the time. Spices and oil is provided, which is also a huge plus. The rooms were very clean and it has separate toilets and showers which is really nice. 100% recommend to stay here. Cute dog is a add on haha :)

Tewantin QLD
A well-kept holiday park in Tewantin with a loyal following, a Thursday pizza van at the gate, and a staff member named Rob who can reverse your caravan into a tight spot first try. Pet-friendly, pool-equipped, and genuinely close to Noosa without the Noosa prices.

Noosa Heads QLD
Thirty-two Hastings Street is as central as Noosa gets. The apartments are roomy, the pool is compact but serviceable, and the beach is a short walk. Maintenance is inconsistent across rooms, so request a recently updated one. The location alone justifies the rate for most visitors.

It is an amazing hostel. The staff are really friendly. Plenty of activities to socialise and meet people, specially when you are a solo traveller. The hostel is really clean. Beds are comfortable. They provide sheets and towel which is a plus. The pool is also very clean and good area to get some sunshine. Overall is 10/10. Had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Jeremy which was very friendly and open for feedback.
This is probably the best hostel I have stayed at so far in Australia, the staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating. The hostel is really clean and the kitchen is the best ive seen by a mile (knives that actually cut and all sorts of appliances etc), they have free breakfast items every day and even pancakes on some days. The location is great in relation to the beach and only a 20 min walk from Noosa heads, the only thing is there are no street lights at night so the walk back from Noosa heads can be an issue if youre not comfortable walking alone in the dark. The dog is literally the cutest. So so happy with my stay here 100% recommend xx
Such a lovely hostel. They put so much effort into social events such as bbq night and nachos and sangria, movie nights and also providing a shuttle bus into town. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy with curtains and a pool and outside area. Can’t forget spider the dog. Recommend as a solo traveler :)
Noosa Heads QLD
Above Hastings Street with bush views and a buggy to the strip, Peppers Noosa earns its keep through spacious multi-level villas and a restaurant team that remembers your name and your dietary requirements. The pool is quiet. The spa is worth it.
