The Sebel Noosa
Noo Heads QLD · Accommodation
(569 reviews)
The address does most of the heavy lifting here. Thirty-two Hastings Street puts you at the centre of Noosa's main strip, with the beach a short walk and every decent restaurant within easy reach. The one-bedroom apartments are spacious and comfortable, with whirlpool tubs and balconies that make a self-contained stay genuinely workable. The pool is small but pleasant, and free parking removes one of Hastings Street's more persistent headaches. Reviews are consistent on the location and the room size, less so on maintenance. Some apartments are in better shape than others, so it's worth requesting a recently refreshed room when you book. The Accor loyalty perks don't always translate cleanly at this property, so check the fine print before you factor them into your plans.

What People Say
Conveniently located in the center of Hastings St made a difference to our experience. Plenty of dining options on our doorstep. We mixed it up with takeaway back to our room or dining out at restaurants. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only negative was a slight, musky, damp smell in the apartment at times, but understandably, the humidity in Noosa doesn't help. We used the pool a few times for a quick refresh, but didn't spend much time there as we preferred the beach. The staff at reception were helpful with all our questions and requests for beach and room towel refresh. We made use of the beach umbrella and chair hire that was advertised on the notice board. It truly made a difference to our beach comfort. We were keen to use the All Accor drink voucher on our booking, only to discover that there was no participating vendor. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Positives: nice room (1 bed apartment), lovely pool, fantastic location for Hastings st. Negatives: Poolside service was on offer (I did see one person get served a drink) but every single time we wanted to use it, it would just say 'unavailable' on the app. With no indication of when it WOULD be available. Pool was very crowded (not the resort's fault) but know that the pool, while lovely, is actually quite a small area. Some bits of the room needed fixing, e.g. water damage on doors etc. but not a big deal. Biggest complaint (which sounds dumb but bear with me) was the lack of a coffee table in the lounge area of our room. We had 3 of the same rooms across our group and ours was the only one without a coffee table. Which meant sitting around of an evening chatting with family travelling with us was not comfortable in our room as nowhere to put snacks, drinks, etc. Comfy lounge and chairs but then just a big empty space with a rug. So we asked for a coffee table. The person at reception looked at us like we were a bit mental and said 'I'll make a note of it'. Of course we never got a coffee table. We requested on day 2 of a 7 day stay. I would have preferred to be told 'I'm so sorry we don't have any extra's, big apologies you don't have one' etc. We could have followed up (shouldn't have had to tbh) but then also we just wanted to enjoy our holiday without having to be 'those people' always asking for things.
This hotel was incredibly disappointing. We booked a room to overlook Hastings street not knowing that meant overlooking the roof of a restaurant with smelly kitchen grease blowing over you. Add to this the hotel is incredibly run down and looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s. Great location but that’s as far as it goes. This property is certainly not worth the premium price you pay and I won’t be returning.
Fantastic location in Noosa! We had a very spacious room, very comfortable bed, massive TV and good working facilities. Set back a little from Hastings street, it was quiet but so easy to get to the main street for coffee, beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
Perfect location. Beds were super comfy, area is quiet. That’s where the positives stopped. 2 bedroom apartment was ok. Dishwasher didn’t work, knives were all blunt, blinds were all buckled, sliding doors between room broken, glass toilet door wouldn’t close, water pressure randomly drop off sometimes to zero, fire alarm kept randomly chirping (maint kept saying nothing wrong). Place needs some serious general maintenance.
