Little Cove beach
Noo Heads QLD · Activities & Tours
(24 reviews)
The walk is the price of admission. Park at Noosa Main Beach, follow the boardwalk for fifteen minutes, and Little Cove reveals itself as the calmer, sandier alternative most visitors walk straight past. The water runs clear and blue, sheltered enough to draw families and swimmers who find Main Beach too chaotic. Short boarders and body surfers work the break, and the sand is noticeably softer than Tea Tree Beach up the hill. It's small and can get windy, but that keeps the numbers down. No lifeguards patrol here, though there's a defibrillator at the beach entrance. The local calculus is simple: if Main Beach is full and Tea Tree is too rocky underfoot, Little Cove is where you end up, and you'll be glad you made the walk.

What People Say
Quite small and windy on the beach. Unfortunately there is no good parking nearby so you need to park at the main beach and walk over. It's about a 15 min walk. The water is calm and crystal blue though!
Beautiful spot to stay with family and friends. Clear water. Terrible to find parking.
A few mintes walk along the board walk from Noosa Heads main beach. Good for surfing, short boards, body surfing and swimming. This is an unpatrolled beach but plenty of people and defib on entrance to the beach. Can sit or play on the beach/sand.
Quieter than Noosa main beach, sandier than Tea Tree Beach
Perfect beach!! Good water.
