The couple who came back four times in five days tells you everything you need to know. Outer Square sits inside Peregian Beach's shopping centre, which sounds like a red flag but isn't. High ceilings and an open layout give it a calm, breathing-room quality that most standalone cafes don't manage. The coffee is the daily anchor for a lot of locals, and the food earns its reputation through portion size and execution rather than just presentation. The menu pushes harder than the setting suggests, drawing on Sunshine Coast produce with genuine creativity. Prices sit comfortably in the moderate range. The matcha drinks lean sweet, so flag that if you're ordering one. Book or arrive early on weekends.

What People Say
Stumbled across this absolute gem while recently on holidays at Noosa, and wanted to show some appreciation! Outer Square was one of THE best casual dining experiences we’ve had. The menu is perfection, the service was friendly and efficient, but the FOOD - oh my! Impeccable. Huge servings, cooked perfectly & presented beautifully. 👌🏽 We’ll be making sure we pop in any time we’re on the Sunshine Coast. Thanks guys.
Tucked inside the shopping centre, this café feels surprisingly spacious and open, with its high ceilings creating a calm, airy atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Even though it’s in the middle of a busy mall, the design gives you a real sense of breathing room – a welcome break from the hustle outside. The coffee here is excellent, brewed with care and carrying a depth of flavour that sets it apart from your standard mall café. It’s the kind of cup that makes you pause and savour, rather than just rushing through. Pair it with the relaxed setting, and it becomes a great spot to recharge before continuing with your shopping. What stands out most is how much this place is clearly loved by locals. You see regulars dropping by for their daily coffee, chatting with the staff, and settling into a comfortable routine. That sense of community adds to the charm, making it feel more personal than just another café in a centre. Whether you’re after a quiet moment to yourself, a casual catch-up with friends, or simply a quality coffee on your shopping trip, this café delivers with ease. It’s a little pocket of calm and comfort right in the heart of the mall.
We are since a week in Australia and we haven’t been to a restaurant what served such a high-quality and delicious food. Furthermore, it was the first time we had an excellent service at the table. We will keep the visit in our memories. Thanks for it.
Honestly, the best place in Noosa for brunch! And we’re a picky couple😁 From the amazing coffee to the love they put into every dish—we came here 4 times in 5 days. That says everything!”
Really cute cafe with great food and service! However I ordered a blueberry matcha and a regular matcha, it looks very aesthetic but it was so sweet I couldn’t drink it. Definitely could be improved with a different matcha powder.

Chip 'n' Mix
Noo Heads QLD
Build-your-own loaded chips on Hastings Street, with the Birria sauce as the standout topping. Fun in concept and genuinely casual in feel, though the price-to-portion ratio divides opinion. Good for a novelty lunch near the beach, especially with kids.

Bistro C
Noo Heads QLD
Directly on Laguna Bay's boardwalk, Bistro C is where Noosa goes for a proper dinner. The pork belly is the order, the seafood is local and fresh, and the sunset timing is worth planning around. Prices are high; the reviews say it earns them.

bp
Nooville QLD
A servo close to the Noosaville boat ramp with a loyal regular crowd and a counter hand who'll remind you about deals you've already forgotten. Coffee is available, though the machines have their off days. Convenient, functional, occasionally charming.

Moonstruck Noosa
Noo Heads QLD
Queues form before sunrise on Hastings Street for a reason. The Bánh Mì Pork Belly Bagel has made converts of passing tourists, the coffee is textbook consistent, and the Dutch owner has a habit of pulling up a chair. Mornings for brunch, afternoons for gin and share plates.
