HOV Yoga - Heart of Vinyāsa
Mullumbimby · Wellness & Spa
(34 reviews)
Vinyāsa practice in Mullumbimby, which tells you something already. This isn't a Byron Bay studio chasing the wellness tourist dollar — it's a serious yoga space in a town that takes this stuff seriously. HOV Yoga builds its teaching around the Heart of Vinyāsa lineage, a breath-led, alignment-focused approach that sits closer to traditional practice than the flow-and-glow end of the market. The Towers Drive address puts you in the quieter residential pocket of Mullum, away from the main strip. Without reviews to draw on, the honest read is this: the lineage is credible, the location is intentional, and the crowd will likely be locals who've moved past beginner classes. Worth a direct inquiry if you're after something more considered than a drop-in vinyāsa flow.

What People Say
Heart of Vinyasa is truly a special place. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed, supported and held in such a warm and genuine way. My experience here has been incredibly positive. The teachers are absolutely amazing, deeply knowledgeable, kind, attentive and so passionate about what they share. Beyond the practice itself, there is a real sense of community and care that makes you want to come back again and again. This studio has been a safe and nourishing space for both body and mind, and I’m so grateful to have found it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for heartfelt, inspiring yoga taught by wonderful humans 🤍✨
High quality yoga space with professional, competent yoga instructors. I’ve been LOVING evening yin yoga as an antidote to my fast moving lifestyle habits. The venue is warm, the air kept clean and fresh, the mats also cleaned after every session, and the atmosphere serene.
Absolutely beautiful space 👌🙏🧘♀️🙌 I did Sunday evening Yin by candlelight with Harriet & it was bliss! Thank you. Do yourself a favour and go experience this wonderful study! I wish I lived in Byron Bay so I could go regularly! But I’ll definitely come whenever I’m there!
I was lucky enough to visit this studio 3 times whilst on holiday. The studio is inviting, calming and the teachers are all wonderful. Each class felt unique and tailored to the attendees. I left with a renewed love for my practice. Thank you :)
I’ve stepped on the matt at HOV yoga a few months ago and haven’t left since. Any morning I have free I go there! It’s clean, dark walls and warm orange lights. Also the playlists are fantastic. Really friendly and helpful teachers. The owner clearly has a passion for what he does and there’s been many a tear of gratitude 🙏
