The checkout staff here held onto a forgotten coffee cup for three days and reunited it with its owner. That's the kind of place this is. Woolworths Metro Burleigh Heads North sits in the heart of Burleigh on Park Ave, a compact but well-stocked Metro format that locals rely on for a quick shop without the carpark chaos of a full-size supermarket. Prices are standard Woolworths, so no surprises there. The rotisserie chicken has its fans, apparently a cut above what you'll find at other Metro stores. Enter through the lane beside Oakberry Açai. The team genuinely knows their regulars, which in a tourist-heavy suburb counts for more than it sounds.
The staff at this supermarket are the BEST. They go above and beyond for customers and remember locals, everyone gets greeted!! I forgot my coffee cup this week and the lovely man at the check out kept it safe for me until I went in store 3 days later - I had no idea I left it there but he remembered me. Security are so friendly and kind here too. When we need more stock that’s not on the shelves, the team always check out back for us! Thank you team for always looking after us when we need stock in store! Your customer service is top notch :)
this is a good woolworths with a variety of items! something i really like is the chicken there is that isn’t available at any other woolworths stores (not any that are near me at least) it’s delicious and even though i haven’t had it in a long time, as a young kid i would loved going to this Woolworths for the chicken. staff aren’t nice nice and the atmosphere is pretty calm and perfect for buying groceries !

Open around the clock at the Tweed Valley Way junction, this Ampol Foodary is the practical stop between Byron and the Gold Coast. Boost Juice, hot coffee, and convenience store staples. Useful when almost nothing else is.

Burleigh Heads
Southern Californian-inspired cafe on the Gold Coast Highway with a strong aesthetic, solid chicken burger, and a dog-friendly policy that extends to snacks for the four-legged. The vibe is the draw, the food backs it up, and there's undercover parking below if you know to look for it.

This Woolies are located in the heart of Burleigh. It is very convenient and you will find everything that you need. If you are at Burleigh it is a good spot to go and grab your shops.
The entrance is next to the Oakberry Açai through the lane. There are a variety of juice and soft drinks at reasonable prices.

Australia's first agricultural rum distillery, making cane-to-bottle spirits on volcanic Tweed Valley soil. Stay for the Tasting Trail Tour, order the crocodile bites, and let staff talk you through the coconut rum. The drive from Byron takes 30 minutes and earns its keep.
