The rainbow lorikeets arrive uninvited and the ocean views stretch all the way to Burleigh Headland. That's the pitch, and it delivers. Justins Park sits on the foreshore next to the Burleigh Heads Surf Life Saving Club, a wide, shaded stretch of lawn with covered picnic shelters, barbecues, and a sandy playground that keeps kids occupied while adults do nothing in particular. The beach is patrolled year-round. The cafes on James Street are a short walk. Bring a picnic or fire up one of the free barbecues. Locals bring their dogs, their grandparents, and their leftover Sunday morning bagels. Parking is the one genuine headache, especially on weekends. Arrive early or walk in from further along the Esplanade. The undercover tables fill fast on sunny days.
A very pretty and relaxed area. Beautiful views reaching from one end to the other end of the Gold Coast. Surfers Paradise visibly seen on clear day which is a nice addition to the environment and atmosphere. Great and safe for all ages.
Beautiful park with stunning views of the ocean and Burleigh Headland. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful walk, picnic, or just to relax under the trees. Super close to cafes and restaurants too—great for grabbing a bite before or after enjoying nature. Always a favorite stop when we’re in Burleigh!
Great place to spend a day to relax and recharge, just over an hours drive...very busy place but plenty of shade for cover. We got undercover tables lucky Small kids playground Facilities, bbq, toilets and good luck finding a car park

Currumbin Valley
Sealed path, generous car park, and a series of rainforest cascades with swimming holes that reward even the most casual visitor. The water runs crystal clear, the sunlight filters through the canopy, and the whole thing takes less effort than you'd expect. Come mid-week to avoid the crowds.

Palm Beach
A long, sheltered inlet on the Gold Coast where dogs run off-leash and the water stays calm enough for a proper swim. Shade, a nearby cafe, and a cut-through to the open ocean. Parking fills fast on weekends; cross the road and walk two minutes.

It’s such a nice and spacious park with public toilets, bins, picnic spaces, a sandy playground area, shelters with dining tables, and a platform with the magnificent beach and ocean views.
Beautiful place for a swim picnic or to watch the sunrise , there are shops/cafes nearby for food drinks and more .
Mudgeeraba
Sixty-two hectares of Mudgeeraba bushland with a fenced dog park, shaded playground, and sheltered BBQ areas wired for electricity. The forest walk is better than it looks on the map, the bird life is genuinely good, and Sunday crowds are rarely a problem.
