Rain and thunderstorms overhead, hot tub water up to your chin, surrounded by trees in Currumbin Valley. That's the version reviewers keep coming back to describe. The Bathhouse At Ground runs on that logic: a phone-free circuit of hot tubs, a magnesium pool, an ice bath, a wood-fire sauna, and infrared saunas, all set deep enough in the valley that the sounds of nature do most of the work. Treatments including facials, massage, and the Cannabella Bliss (head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and feet) slot in alongside the soak. The attached cafe handles coffee and post-float decompression. Staff get consistent praise across reviews. Practical notes: bring two towels or pay a small hire fee, and the wood-fire sauna runs small, so the claustrophobic should choose infrared. Parking is tight while building works continue nearby.
Loved it all. Beautiful staff, friendly and professional. Atmosphere was relaxing. Cannabella Bliss was the treatment-head/face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet. Followed by a bathhouse soak in hot tub... AMAZING, we left feeling so relaxed. Dined in the attached cafe, perfect coffee, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful coffee Staff throughout were perfect, friendly and talented at what they do. Highly recommend 🩷
The bath and bliss was absolutely fantastic 👌 I have a voucher for a facial, so I will be booking in for another soak with that. Definately will be a regular once a month. Clean, tranquil, relaxing, and the staff are wonderful. If your cup is half empty or half full, the bath and bliss will refill and recharge.
This is my favourite bathouse of all time. The staff are warm and friendly, it is reasonably priced and the setting is gorgeous. There are a range of hot tubs, a magnesium pool, an ice bath, traditional sauna and infared saunas. They also offer massages and beauty treatments here. I've had a facial and it was amazing. Highly recommend

Robina
Student-delivered treatments at prices that make sense, backed by training serious enough to produce graduates who get hired. Aromatherapy massages, acrylic nails, facials, and more. Book well ahead because this place fills up fast.

Currumbin Valley
A residential health retreat in Currumbin Valley where the program spans cold plunge therapy, sound bowls, and cooking classes, but nobody pressures you to do any of it. The cabins are genuinely comfortable, the food is nourishing, and the staff are the reason people fly in from across Australia.

I couldn't recommend it more! It was my first time here (and in a place like this) and all I could think was "WHAT AN AMAZING IDEA" ... Not as a bathhouse, that's a normal idea... but this one, the place where they set it up, the environment, the nature, the surroundings...everything! We got even luckier as it was rainjng and thunderstorming and it felt too magical. All the tubs (hot and cold) and perfection! The sauna is probably one of the coolest places ever. You have something for everyone and the amount of people allowed in per session is also perfect. The showers and changing rooms are super couple friendly. They have 2 of each and there's lockers for your belongings (we didn't have a lock but didn't feel the need) It is a phone free place and that makes it even more grounded. The sounds of nature were just perfect Absolutely loved it and I can't recommend more. Bring your own towel if you don't want to pay an extra fee (4$) and no need for shoes but you can bring some flip flops just in case.
Parking can be a bit of a nightmare with all the building works going on in the surrounding area. Also, the mosquitos are in full force given the trees and bushy location. You have to take your own 2 towels, they aren't provided. I do like you can do hour long soaks as 90 mins can be too long I find. Wood fire sauna is gorgeous, but not ideal for tall or claustrophobic people. The place where massages occur is lovely, nice and quiet. Overall, I think there are other bath houses locally that I prefer over ground.
Mudgeeraba
An organic day spa in Mudgeeraba's heritage village with serious treatment credentials. The Wild Moon package, a full-body ritual with guided meditation and elemental facial, is the one regulars keep coming back for. Therapists are named in nearly every review. That says it all.
