The free arcade games are a small detail, but they tell you everything about how this resort thinks. RACV Noosa sits within a conservation sanctuary off Noosa Drive, close enough to Hastings Street that the shuttle makes it trivial, far enough that you actually decompress. Two lagoon pools, a water slide, a splash park, and Dazza's restaurant with its wood-fired pizzas and buffet breakfast keep families anchored on-site for days at a time. Rooms are spacious and quiet, though reviewers consistently flag that natural light is limited. RACV members get meaningful discounts on packages, which softens the premium price point considerably. Staff get named in reviews with genuine warmth, which is the clearest signal of a well-run operation. Book the two-bedroom lagoon apartment if you're travelling with family.
My family and I have just returned from our first-ever holiday with the kids, and I couldn't have picked a better spot than RACV Noosa Resort. The resort is incredibly well-equipped for families. From the water slides to the splash park, the kids were entertained from sunrise to sunset, which actually allowed us parents to relax. The Arcade Room was a big hit with our eldest, where he made friends and, as we couldn't believe it when he told us the games were free! The resort feels tucked away and peaceful, yet it’s so close to the heart of everything. The grounds are immaculate and very safe for families. Noosa itself is stunning, but what really made the trip were the people. The locals and the surrounding community were so lovely and welcoming, giving the whole area a warm, friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. Some locals offering fishing tips to our 9 year old which was so lovely. Between the beautiful scenery and the top-tier facilities, we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We left feeling refreshed instead of exhausted—a rare feat for a family holiday! We will definitely be back. A special mention to: Sophie at reception, Wayne in the pools and Steph at the bar!! What a team you have there. We hope to make this an annual family holiday, thank you once again 🙂
We had family visiting from the Netherlands, so our whole family decided to take a trip to Noosa. The facilities at the hotel are wonderful, especially for young children, and the rooms are spacious. However, they are quite dark. As someone who loves natural light, I personally found the room felt a bit like a dungeon. Unfortunately, on the third day of our stay I stepped on a piece of glass by the pool. A staff attendant looked at the wound, cleaned it with antiseptic and used tweezers to check for any remaining glass, but none was found. No incident report was written at the time. This injury significantly affected the rest of my stay, as I was unable to walk properly for the remainder of the trip. After returning home, the wound did not heal. Following multiple doctor visits and a course of antibiotics, my doctor scheduled a scan. A few days before the scan, a large piece of glass finally came out of the wound. I am now on another course of antibiotics to treat the infection and am hoping the issue will finally resolve. Because of this experience and the fact that the pool area was not properly cleared of glass, unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel.

Sunshine Beach
Spider the dog, free nachos and sangria nights, and a shuttle to the beach twice a day. Flashpackers runs daily social events that actually work, with clean dorms, AC, and free breakfast. The kind of hostel people extend their stay for.

Champagne at check-in, a swim-up bar that earns its nostalgia, and river-view rooms that catch the Noosa sunset. The staff here, particularly Michael at concierge, are the kind that get mentioned by name in reviews. One of Hastings Street's most consistently praised addresses.

Absolutely love this resort. Has everything you can ask for. Mum and I stayed in a 2 bedroom lagoon apartment and we didnt want to leave. Buffet breakfast, woodfired pizzas and an impressive selection of other dishes to choose from at Dazza's restaurant, Poolside service. Shuttle service to and from Hastings Street. And because Mums a member discounts included in our package were outstanding 👌
RACV Resort Noosa is absolutely amazing! The rooms are so clean and spacious, and quiet which makes for a great night's sleep.. The resort facilities are so fabulous for our two little people and the pool is amazing. We don't want to leave! Thank you Noosa RACV for making our trip so wonderful ❤️
One of the nicest resorts we've enjoyed. Obviously very well managed, guest services, accommodation and catering all excellent. Very child-friendly hence many children even though we stayed out of school holidays. Regular shuttle to town. Nice pool, friendly staff, very good inclusive buffet breakfast - with great coffee. Relatively expensive but you pays for what you gets. Highly recommended.

Curtained bunks, free laundry, free surf boards, and a bar with a guest discount. Halse Lodge is five minutes from Hastings Street and has worked out what most hostels haven't. Noosa for not much money, done properly.
