The pool is the centrepiece, and on a Queensland afternoon it earns its keep. Bounce Noosa is a newer hostel in Nooville with a strong aesthetic and the facilities to match: clean dorms, a bar, a communal kitchen, and a shuttle that runs three times daily to bridge the gap between Mary Street and the beach. Staff get consistent praise, with Sophie at reception name-checked more than once for going the extra distance. The app-based room entry divides opinion, and the absence of privacy curtains in most dorms is a recurring gripe worth noting if you're a light sleeper. The Saturday night crowd skews more festival-ready than backpacker-mellow. Thursday is the sweet spot: the hostel runs transfers to It's The Rock Noosa, and the vibe is notably looser. A supermarket sits directly across the street.

Myself and my 3 friends stayed at the hostel over new years and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean, rooms were perfect and the pool was amazing! Location was also sooo fine! Uber or shuttle into town was very accessible! Staff were also so lovely Sophie at reception always went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met! Definitely coming back this time next year!!
Nice hostel with pool. Everything feels new, although you definitely pay a bit more for its Instagram aesthetic. The small things that make a hostel great are missing - for example they’ve scrimped on some basics such as privacy curtains on beds in most dorm rooms. The Instagram vibe also attracts a strange crowd - Saturday night here felt like an episode of Love Island and not the laidback backpacker vibe you’d expect from a hostel.
10/10 – Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! This hostel exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully designed for travelers. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help with recommendations, tours, or just a chat. The atmosphere was perfect — social without being noisy — making it easy to meet people from all over the world. The common areas were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and the location couldn’t have been better: close to everything but still quiet at night. Amazing value for money. I felt safe, welcomed, and genuinely sad to leave. If you’re even considering staying here, do it. I’d come back in a heartbeat. They take you to this amazing Club on a Thursday called It’s The Rock Noosa, it will be one of the best clubs you go to in Noosa!

Thirty-two Hastings Street is as central as Noosa gets. The apartments are roomy, the pool is compact but serviceable, and the beach is a short walk. Maintenance is inconsistent across rooms, so request a recently updated one. The location alone justifies the rate for most visitors.

Noosa North Shore QLD
A ferry ride from Noosa proper, this family holiday park on the North Shore earns its repeat visitors through a solid restaurant, dog-friendly sites, and genuine remove from the tourist strip. Book a cabin, not a standard room, and bring a long power lead.

Noosa has a reputation for being expensive, and parts of it are. But the national park is free, the best beaches cost nothing but the walk down, and there are hostels, cafes, and caravan parks that let you do this place properly without the Hastings Street bill. Here is how to spend less and miss nothing.
Most visitors turn left toward Hastings Street. The locals turn right, toward the Noosa River, the riverside dining strip, and a suburb that does not need to perform for tourists. Noosaville is where you eat serious food, paddle flat water at dawn, and find the version of Noosa that residents actually live in.
Three days is the right amount of time in Noosa. Enough to hike to Alexandria Bay at sunrise, eat pork belly at Bistro C, find the quieter stretch of Sunshine Beach, and still have an evening at Aqua Day Spa. This itinerary moves through Noosa Heads, Noosaville, and Sunshine Beach with specific times, specific plates, and no filler.
Great hostel! Bedrooms and bathrooms were really clean. Staff were really friendly, especially the bar staff. Only thing is that it’s quite a walk from the centre of Noosa and the beach, but the hostel runs a shuttle at 3 points throughout the day which is really helpful. Would definitely recommend!
We had the best stay at Bounce in Noosa. We have travelled the east coast so are familiar with hostels, and this is by far the best. The pool was great and the perfect temperature and there was a good variety of seating options. The team were so friendly, Max and Victoria are really accommodating and approachable especially for solo travellers. Most importantly, you can tell the staff genuinely want to be there & enjoy their jobs. I’d live here if I could!!

Above Hastings Street with bush views and a buggy to the strip, Peppers Noosa earns its keep through spacious multi-level villas and a restaurant team that remembers your name and your dietary requirements. The pool is quiet. The spa is worth it.
