Front-row seats on Hastings Street, cane-back chairs, a leafy terrace, and enough foot traffic to keep things interesting. Aromas has been a Noosa institution long enough that the location does a lot of the heavy lifting, and on a good day, it earns it. The lemon and blueberry tart is worth ordering, the croissants hold up, and the coffee is reliable. The broader menu is more variable. Reviews flag the occasional cold plate or mixed-up order, though staff consistently handle complaints with speed and good grace. Think of it as a place to linger over something light rather than a destination for a serious breakfast. Moderate pricing, prime real estate, and a terrace that catches the morning well. Book a front-row table and keep expectations calibrated accordingly.
The place is lovely and the service is good, but the food was disappointing, overpriced, and bad. I ordered a zucchini starter and I've never experienced this before because I’m a foodie person but it was so bad that I was grossed out after the first bite and we couldn't eat it. The gnocchi dish wasn't great either, nothing special at all for a 38 AUD plate.
The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. Our food arrived quickly, the drinks were delicious, and the croissants were fantastic. The only minor issue was that our muffin didn’t seem fully cooked. We mentioned it to the staff, and the wonderful waitress promptly brought us a fresh one, explaining that the chefs had used a different flour. She also kindly processed a refund which is great service.
Nice spot but the food is disappointing. My partners meal came out before mine and he finished his food before I even got my meal. My scrambled eggs were very overcooked and dry, and the avocado I paid $7 extra for was hard. Coffee was fine but doubt I’ll come back here. For the price, I expect much better food.

A drive-through pit stop on David Low Way. The price point is the point. Order accuracy is hit and miss, and the McCafé coffee runs weak. Check your bag before you leave and keep expectations calibrated to the golden arches.

Directly on Laguna Bay's boardwalk, Bistro C is where Noosa goes for a proper dinner. The pork belly is the order, the seafood is local and fresh, and the sunset timing is worth planning around. Prices are high; the reviews say it earns them.

Hastings Street gets the tourists, but Noosaville is where locals actually eat. Free parking, a calmer river strip along Gympie Terrace, and a dining scene that runs from serious coffee at Clandestino to riverside lunches at Depot Noosa. Less booking stress, more room to breathe. Here is where to eat.
Not every Noosa restaurant with 'ocean view' in its marketing actually faces the ocean. Some look at the river. Some face a carpark with ambition. This guide is honest about which venues deliver the real thing, what to order when you get there, and which ones require a booking versus which ones you can walk into on a Tuesday in autumn.
Three days is the right amount of time in Noosa. Enough to hike to Alexandria Bay at sunrise, eat pork belly at Bistro C, find the quieter stretch of Sunshine Beach, and still have an evening at Aqua Day Spa. This itinerary moves through Noosa Heads, Noosaville, and Sunshine Beach with specific times, specific plates, and no filler.
Aromas Café is in a fantastic location right on Hastings Street - a great spot to sit, unwind and watch the world go by. The coffee and juice were both good and definitely hit the mark. Unfortunately, the food really let the experience down. Our meals arrived cold and were extremely dry, to the point where it felt pre-made and reheated. The eggs in particular were bland and overcooked. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to walk away from a meal unfinished. To their credit, the staff handled it well … our meal was comped and management was genuinely keen to rectify the situation, which we appreciated. However, based on this experience, it’s not somewhere we’d return to for food.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Noosa. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh seafood which tasted incredibly high quality. The atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish, perfectly matching the coastal vibe of the area. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Service was quick and professional without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot whether you’re looking for a casual lunch or a special dinner. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Noosa.”
An organic cafe in Noosa Junction with a genuine commitment to seasonal, wholesome food. The acai bowl is generous and unsweetened, the gluten-free waffle is a rare find, and the open, boho fit-out makes it easy to stay longer than planned.
