The gluten-free waffle alone is worth knowing about, and in a town where dietary requirements are taken seriously, VanillaFood earns its reputation by actually delivering. Tucked into Noosa Junction, this organic cafe runs on a wholesome, seasonal philosophy — real food, rustic presentation, the kind of acai bowl that arrives generous and unsweetened with a proper pile of fresh fruit on top. The boho-open fit-out is relaxed enough to linger, with a communal table set aside for laptop workers. Vegan options are solid, the tofu scramble has its fans, and the coffee is good. The menu occasionally outruns the kitchen's capacity on busy mornings, so ordering something that travels well if you're on a schedule is wise. Prices are moderate for what's on the plate, though some dishes punch lighter than expected.
Great food and nice vibe. I visited for breakfast and had the tofu scramble which was very tasty. The menu includes a few vegan options which is great. The decor is fantastic and the place has a chilled boho vibe that invites you to relax the moment you walk in. The only constructive remark I have is that they took really long with the food because there was a big table that had must have ordered before me, which I understand, but it would have been great if they had flagged the potential wait when I went to order as my baby was due for a nap after breakfast and I might have decided to go elsewhere to avoid messing up with her sleep.
This was a nice experience. The food was delicious but the didn’t have juice and when we asked for a smoothie instead they said “sorry we don’t have the ingredients” which was a shame since it said they had them on the menu. But overall it was a good experience.
Always great to find a gluten-free waffle! It was delicious, and there were lots of other options for different dietary requirements. Lovely open vibe to the café, and the middle table is available for customers with laptops.

Easy to write off as a tourist stop on Hastings Street, harder to argue with once the seafood spaghetti arrives. The beach-facing verandah over Laguna Bay is the draw, but the Caesar salad with prawns and the notably good fish and chips are reasons to return.

People queue before noon. The garlic chive miang and sticky pork belly are the reasons. Share plates, serious cocktails, and a feed-me banquet that earns its price. Book Thursday through Saturday well in advance or you won't get in.

Saturday morning on Hastings Street is a contact sport. The queues form before 9am and the good tables go fast. But Noosa's best cafes are not all on the main strip. From Sunshine Beach's serious coffee roasters to Noosaville's riverside spots, this is where locals actually eat brunch and how to get a table when it counts.
Noosa feeds 55,000 people and somehow maintains a restaurant scene that embarrasses cities ten times its size. From the hardest booking on Hastings Street to a lamb rump above the Pacific at Sunshine Beach SLSC, these are the twelve restaurants worth planning your trip around in 2026.
Very healthy Acai bowl. Generous portion. No added sugar. Lots of fresh fruit. Well presented. Excellent healthy way to start the day. Venue is bright and airy with a modern beach vibe.
Coffee was great. Staff were nice. Very comfortable vibe. My meal was a surprise! The muffin was and a bit like a half-cooked carrot cake without sugar (there was sugar in the top though). I had the 'Morning Plate' - I'm not sure the person who designed it ever tried to eat it. The tiny serve of bread was pretty disappointing. This was $18.60 with the optional jam which I had to eat with a spoon in the end.

River views, a relaxed lunch at the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club, and a handful of boutique shops make this marina precinct worth the trip. Come by ferry from Noosa Heads if you can. The car park has its complications.
