House of Shemana
Byron Bay · Wellness & Spa
(80 reviews)
Tucked into the industrial-meets-wellness pocket of Brigantine Street, House of Shemana positions itself at the quieter, more considered end of Byron's spa scene. The focus is on ritual rather than throughput: treatments draw on ancient healing traditions and are designed to be unhurried. Expect a space that takes its philosophy seriously, with offerings that go beyond the standard massage menu into more ceremonial territory. The Brigantine Street location, away from the main strip, keeps the clientele intentional rather than tourist-impulse. No reviews yet means the word-of-mouth is still building, but the positioning is clear. This is for people who've done the beach clubs and want something slower. Book ahead and arrive early enough to settle in before your treatment.

What People Say
House of Shemana is one of the most beautiful healing spaces I’ve stepped into. The moment you walk through the door, you feel like you’ve entered a serene, sacred sanctuary ~ calming, elegant, and infused with intention. I experience several treatments: a ritual massage with both Meagan and Margot were both next-level. Steve’s crania-sacral therapy left me feeling super grounded, calm, centred and floating on a cloud. I’ve had several LTCO facials over the years and always loved them. I recently experienced Quantum Healing Hypnosis with Margot which was amazing! The therapists here are true masters of their craft ~ intuitive, grounded, and deeply skilled. It wasn’t just a treatment; it felt like a full mind–body reset. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely renewed after visiting. Their space in Byron is stunning… warm lighting, gentle scents, beautiful textures, and a sense of stillness that instantly softens your nervous system. The retail area is also incredible ~ their elixirs, oils, and ritual tools are unique, thoughtful, and high-quality. You can feel the love and intention in every detail. House of Shemana isn’t just a spa — it’s an experience, a sanctuary, and a place to truly reconnect with yourself. Could not recommend more highly. A must-visit in Byron Bay.
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at House of Shemana. Such a calming space as soon as you enter, also, smells amazing. Margot is pure magic. I felt held and supported my entire experience and honestly the best massage I’ve ever had. The place is clean, stylish and comfortable. My experience here has always been transformative and luxurious. If I could give more stars I would. Thanks so much for providing a welcoming warm environment to just be.
A glorious experience. The atmosphere that has been lovingly created just soaks into your being. I cannot wait to come back and take a deep dive into the treatments on offer. We met with Margot and she was divine. I highly recommend House of Shemana.
This place has such a potent magic to it. The rooms are beautiful, the smells transport you to a different realm and you’re left feeling refreshed and revitalised. My massage with Margot was incredible as usual. I’ve been receiving massages from her for a few years now and it honestly gets better and better every time. She is incredibly intuitive and definitely gives your body what it needs with so much love, care and wisdom. She is a guardian Angel and I will never stop recommending her to every single person. 💛
Hand down the BEST wellness/spa experience in all of Byron. I am a HUGE massage fan, and try to get them when I can due to long and endless work week and prior injuries I’m often stiff and sore. I had known of Shemana products for a while (the heart activation mist is my fave!) but when I saw that they took over the LTCo space I was intrigued. Anna the owner talked me through the amazing different options for massage and I ended up meeting Margot, and oh my god this woman gives the most relaxing, nervous system calming, transformative, massage I have ever had. It’s hard to put into words!!! All the staff there are incredible, so welcoming, calm and helpful. And all the products Shemana make are incredible (and made locally). I could NOT say enough good things about every experience I have had at House of Shemana. 100% worth it to visit. You will leave literally floating on a cloud!
