The pool slide gets mentioned in almost every family review, and that tells you everything about who this place is for. Nobby Beach Holiday Village runs the full spectrum from powered sites to two-bedroom deluxe villas, and the price point stays honest throughout. Villas come with private BBQs on the veranda, the pool area has both sun and shade, and the Miami Marketta night markets are a seven-minute walk away. Staff experiences vary enough to be worth noting: the upgrade stories are real, but so are the complaints about responsiveness during longer stays. Book a villa rather than a powered site if you want more breathing room, and manage your expectations on housekeeping for extended stays. G'day Rewards members get 10% off. For families who want a central Gold Coast base without resort prices, it does the job.
Booked online, got there and received a free upgrade into one of the premium villas from paying studio prices, I extended my stay and retained my booking rate. The villas which has its own private BBQ grill on the outdoor veranda. The villa was clean, spacious, private, has everything a single traveler could want and more, just like being at home, but away. would also be ideal for families of 6, it has its own private BBQ on the outdoor veranda. Friendly helpful staff onsite, large pool area with sunbathing and shade, more onsite facilities for your convenience. Will be definitely rebooking with them again. Fairly priced and well located being near shops, malls, and is a short walk to the touristy things, food, gyms and beaches, totally satisfied with my stay there.
Stayed here on the weekend in the Deluxe Villa 2 bedroom. Was a sweet little getaway with the family. The Villa was nice, had everything that we needed. Kids loved the pool and the big slide. Recommend checking out the Miami Markets at night only a 7min walk away. Apart from the dramatic Weather forecast. All was well. Will definitely visit again Thanks Nobby for the great memories…

Beechmo QLD
Seventy-five hinterland acres, a chef-hatted restaurant called The Paddock, and a picnic under an old fig tree with Moët. Wallabies outside the cabin window are a genuine possibility. The staff, particularly Natalie at the front desk, are why guests keep coming back.

Palm Beach
Where Tallebudgera Creek meets Palm Beach, with waterfront cabins, a creek beach calm enough for kids, and a surf beach in the other direction. Food trucks, an adults-only pool, and staff who remember your name after a few visits. The kind of place families rebook before they've even packed up.

Great spot. Plenty of cabins and very family friendly. Pool is a big hit with the kids and adults! Stayed here a few times and one of the great parks in SE Qld. Rooms are great and plenty of them for decent price. Only bad thing is one grumpy old fella on the staff who is the fun police.
Villa was ok, were happy with beds and excellent shower. Service- there wasn’t any, 5 nights and nothing was changed such as towels etc. one t-towel supplied, no soap, no dishwasher liquid. Villa had hole in security door which wouldn’t lock, and not the safest place to be with permanent people living on the premises. Everyone in the van side of things were very cramped in. If more than one car per 2 brm Villa or park site you had to park out on the Street. Not one staff member came to make sure we were enjoying our 5 day stay. Kids enjoyed the water slide however not supervised. Entrance/book-in driveway was a challenge. Overall a bit disappointing for what it cost.
This campsite could have great potential, but it is completely ruined by the staff. We had a mechanical issue with our car during our stay. Because we own a camper trailer and needed the car to move it, we couldn’t leave and were forced to extend our stay. The woman at reception was rude, unhelpful and showed zero understanding. We asked for help finding someone to assist us with moving our camper trailer and to leave a note at reception — she refused and didn’t even try to help. She then made us change sites for our extra nights, meaning we had to completely pack up and set everything up again. Thankfully, some very kind neighbours helped us move the camper trailer. Later, a man came and told us we had to move again because we were supposedly “over the line.” When we explained we couldn’t move the camper trailer without a car, he laughed and sarcastically told us to “just move it by hand.” Completely inappropriate and disrespectful. No help, no empathy, no professionalism. The human experience here was a disaster. And to top it off: the showers and toilets were absolutely disgusting. Filthy, dirty, poorly maintained — at all times of the day. Honestly, some of the worst sanitary facilities we’ve seen while travelling. Such a shame. With better staff and basic hygiene standards, this place could be great. As it is, we do not recommend this campsite.
Tweed Heads South
A waterpark, a tidal billabong with kayaks, go-karts, food trucks, and live music on the camp kitchen deck. The Duranbah cabins sleep families in genuine comfort. Positioned between the Gold Coast and Kingscliff, this is the holiday park that makes the school holiday argument easy.
