The paella and the live band are already going by the time you find a table, which is the right way to arrive at Miami Marketta. The Gold Coast's original night market runs on a simple formula: a rotating cast of food vendors covering serious ground, from Thai street food to wood-fired pizza, an open-air Gin Parlour, cold beer, and a stage that pulls in acts worth staying for. Vegetarians and vegans eat well here, which isn't always a given at a market format. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The crowd is mixed in the best way. The early finish means you're home before midnight, which is either a selling point or a dealbreaker depending on who you are. Book ahead for events and ask about the Gin Parlour if you're planning something private.
What a vibe this joint is! Been here a few times for some amazing bands. Such an great venue for its early start and finish too! Nothing like heading home when its still quite early but having been there long enough that you filled your entertainment cup! Food vendors that cater to these events are also amazing, lots of choice even the fussiest of eaters would find something they liked!! 10/10 would recommend!
Really good atmosphere here in GC! It’s not too far from Surfers Paradise — only about 40 minutes. I loved the music, food, and overall vibe. I’ll definitely visit again. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and taste great, especially the paella and pizza — I loved them so much!
From the moment I saw Miami Marketta—especially the Gin Parlour—I knew without a doubt that it was the place for our surprise wedding party. Miami Marketta truly ticked every single box we were looking for and was the perfect choice for an outside-the-box celebration. Christina was absolutely incredible from the very first email right through to the night of our party. She went above and beyond in every way—no question was ever too much trouble, every detail was handled with care, and her communication was outstanding. On the night itself, she made sure our glasses were always full and that everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy such a special moment. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made all the difference. We are beyond grateful and appreciative of Christina and the entire Miami Marketta team. Thanks to them, our night was truly unforgettable. We’re already planning our next visit back—an absolute five-star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Advancetown
Free live music, low-and-slow brisket, and line dancing on a Tuesday — The Beechmont Hotel is a proper country pub sitting above the Gold Coast in the Hinterland. The smokehouse platter is the move. Bring the whole crew, grab a spot outdoors, and let the meals come when they come.

Mermaid Beach
Mermaid Plaza's car park runs on an app now, with the first hour free, and it's made this Gold Coast Highway Woolworths Metro a far more practical stop. Central enough for holiday-makers, quick enough for locals on a grocery run.

We recently hosted a student event here and it was an amazing experience! The place is beautiful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. A special thank you to Chris, who kindly supported us and helped make the event possible. The whole team was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made everything run smoothly. Our students absolutely loved it! Highly recommend this venue for events — we’ll definitely be back.

Miami
A Gold Coast Highway pub since 1925, The Miami earns its 4.6 with cold beers, honest bistro prices, and a beer garden a short walk from North Burleigh Beach. The Guinness, poured by Fran, has its own following.
