Twenty-two hectares of parkland beside Mudgeeraba Creek, with in-ground trampolines, water play, and a fully enclosed kids' playground that parents on the southern Gold Coast have been waiting years for. The adventure playground draws families from Robina and well beyond, and the off-lead dog area adds a reason to bring the whole household. Shade is the honest caveat here: reviewers consistently flag that the toddler zone gets punishing on hot days, with shade sails covering a fraction of the space. Come in the cooler months and it sings. Note that the cafe listed on the Greenheart website is currently closed, so bring your own supplies. Parking fills fast on weekends, so an early Saturday arrival is the move.
This expansive recreational area features a diverse range of amenities, including water play installations, in-ground trampolines, and slides suitable for all age groups. Additionally, the facility offers a dedicated cycling and walking track, a cafe, and ample shaded areas. The children's playground is fully enclosed for safety. This location is ideal for hosting parties and family gatherings.
Fantastic start of the expansive Green Heart for the Gold Coast. It is fast becoming a very popular destination for families. That said, parking will be a problem, especially on weekends. We can't wait to see the needful phases on the Green Heart. So far, so good. Keep it up.
The park shows great potential, but unfortunately, the execution leaves much to be desired. One of the biggest shortcomings is the lack of adequate shade and seating. In the toddler area, the shade sails barely cover 20% of the space, leaving the ground uncomfortably hot and play equipment difficult to use during warmer days. The water play area also feels underwhelming for a park of this size. It’s quite small and would really benefit from additional features like sprinklers to help kids cool off during the summer heat. While this park might be enjoyable in the cooler months, the limited shaded areas and lack of seating make it hard to imagine it being a comfortable or practical space to use during the hotter seasons.

Palm Beach
A pirate ship playground, calm creek swimming, and one of the Gold Coast's best off-leash dog beaches, all in one spot along Currumbin Creek. The sheltered water makes it a go-to for families with young kids when the surf is too wild.

Currumbin Valley
Sealed path, generous car park, and a series of rainforest cascades with swimming holes that reward even the most casual visitor. The water runs crystal clear, the sunlight filters through the canopy, and the whole thing takes less effort than you'd expect. Come mid-week to avoid the crowds.

Visited greenheart off lead park and surrounding area. Firstly very misleading, the web site has a cafe, there is no cafe it closed weeks ago, another cafe is mths away I am told. The fenced off lead area is sterile and unfriendly. I was complemented by a walker for picking my pups poo, the walker said thank you, so many don't clean up after their pup. On looking around I found so many pup messes not picked up. The area is pristine having several council officers blowing leaves of the paths and cutting already manicured lawns, you would think they would enforce the council code on clean up your mess, but it appears they don't! The greanheart is so many things to the community, but it has no heart! Its empty and soulless in my opinion. I said morning to most everyone I passed, only one acknowledged my greeting from about 70 morning gestures.
My dog and my kids loved it!!! Well done ! Robina needed something like that! I’d love to see just a few shaded seating areas in the park, where I can sit and relax while spending time with my dog. The sun can get quite strong, so a bit of shelter would make a big difference.
Mudgeeraba
The Mudgeeraba Redbacks call it home, and on game days it earns that. The rest of the week it's shady ovals, netball courts, a skate area, and a playground in the heart of the old village. Also the Gold Coast's worst-kept secret for free Cbus Stadium shuttle parking.
